She was my roommate in College… the one who could always make me laugh when times were stressful! And well he is seriously one of the kindest men I know. They’re fabulous people with a fabulous little baby on the way. While I was out west, there was no doubt that we had to take advantage of me being so close. And what a perfect time for photos since she’s “preggo” (as she says – for some reason I really hate that term – why? I don’t know!).

I just loved this old door she had in her house.

Aside from our mutual friend Justin, Mike has got to be THE BIGGEST SPORTS fan of life!

We took some photos in their yard because it was SO green from all that rain!

After a long day of rain, the sun came out just in time to go back down… but the light was perfect for this shoot!

Here’s another shoot that I did in Abbotsford last week.  But you’ll have to wait for the story and the rest of the photos

“It took me 45 years to find the perfect man” said Jeannine as we drove together on the #1 from Abbotsford to Hope towards the Othello Tunnels (side note: breathtaking views there).

This shoot was something very special for us… because Glenn is Justin’s dad.  We could not be happier that Jeannine is the one joining the Driedger family.  She brings so much joy to Glenn and she’s someone so sweet or as she says so often “priceless”.  Over the past few days, we’ve been able to really see the love they have for each other.  And I’ve decided that everyone deserves to be happy no matter how young or old you are because one thing is always true: We all need to love and to be loved!

After so many tears of sadness over the past year, there were tears of JOY shed yesterday as we watched the short film that Justin put together of our time with them!

Justin and I are hanging out in beautiful British Columbia.  We’ve been here since Sunday, enjoying the sights and smells of the lovely land we used to live in!! HA!
