Red Deer Wedding Photography | rhonda & jordan: weddings

Our next wedding took us to RED DEER, ALBERTA for Rhonda and Jordan’s wedding.  These two are NOT hard to love :)  Wonderful people and friends.  Justin has known Jordan for many years, and I met Jordan in first year of college (oh my goodness – that was 7 years ago…………….).
As for Rhonda… we were both VERY interested to meet the woman who was going to marry our friend.

As soon as I met her, I approved — not that Jordan needed MY approval :) but…. it’s always nice to know you’re friend is marrying a wonderful person!!

I was so honoured when they asked me to photograph their wedding.  I knew I could help them get some GREAT shots.  And that’s exactly what happened…… we got some good ones!!

silly. beautiful. memorable.

and here are the ladies… looking fierce!

this is janelle (jordan’s sister) “awwing” about her first personalized pen (she’s a writer)

something very important to the two of them…

JORDAN!!

almost as soon as we left the ceremony… we re-entered and had a short reception.

this is JJ (jordan’s brother) sharing his speech and making EVERYONE laugh :)

this is nicole… TOTALLY NOT prepared for a speech – and then there’s a typical look from Jordan encouraging her on!

the next few are some of my favourites… on our way to their “planned” location, we stumbled on this industrial looking underpass

LOVE this one!

the silliest group of people I’ve ever worked with…. I took this shot at least 15 times and barely came out with a decent one!!! (at least we had fun :) haha!)

HOT

I was loving the lighting at this point

Jord and Rhonda… love you guys!!

Nic Anderson - These have got to be my favorite, I'm in awe. I wanted to comment more to support your canned goods idea, but I have to stop looking now, I'm too jealous! lol it's causing me to stumble. You're amazing, keep up the good work!December 10, 2008 - 2:23 am

Jayy Rojas - Hyperfocal focus! That's what it's called, where you combine a close foreground and a deep background. VERY artistic. (Bridge Picture, again)December 9, 2008 - 6:39 pm

Jayy Rojas - I really like the photographs on the bridge. The first one to be exact. Everything just flows so well. Although I must say, the bouquet of flowers in the foreground draws my attention away from the couple. And the composition is amazing, not too much trees and not too much of the bridge. Very Nice :) OH and PS, the way you angled your shot, is what caught my attention, "look at me, I'm unique, we can be artistic while breaking some photography rules :)"December 9, 2008 - 6:32 pm
